Deciding to move your family often depends on the quality of local schools, and Pemberton offers some great options for every stage of learning. Whether you are searching for a welcoming kindergarten environment, strong academic programs, or a community focused on outdoor education, Pemberton’s schools play a big role in why so many families choose to call this valley home. Starting with Day Cares, we have a couple of excellent options. The Pemberton Children's Centre is the largest facility, and they are always growing, having recently made huge improvements to their outdoor spaces.
The Nest Early Learning Centre is a newer facility, inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies.
Signal Hill Elementary School is the gem in the centre of town with grades k - 7.
Ecole La Valee de Pemberton is the French Elementary School that shares the facility with Signal Hill.
Pemberton Secondary School is across the way in the Aspen Fields neighbourhood. This school takes students from grade 8 through graduation in grade 12.
Over in Mount Currie, the Xetolacw provides education from pre-school to grade 12. This facility provides a positive and empowering learning environment where Lil'wat culture, language and values are taught and celebrated alongside a standardized academic curriculum.
Just down the highway in Whistler there are also two more elementary schools, a secondary school plus an independent Waldorf school.
For a tiny little town, we do have some outstanding schools with amazing teachers and staff!
