According to the provincial government’s latest estimates, in 2005 Pemberton experienced a growth rate of 13.9%; the largest jump for a community which did not expand its boundaries. By comparison, the provincial growth rate was 1.25%.
The Village is the hub for the Pemberton Valley area including the Pemberton Meadows, Mt. Currie, D'Arcy and Birken and home to just over 2500 residents.
